You will need to create a username and password. Make sure you have your completed ‘Application Form’ ready, as you’ll be required to enter some details before selecting the date, time, and location for your appointment. Please note that not all offices are listed in the system—smaller or secondary offices, such as those in Chapala and Melaque, may not appear.
Pros & Con
Pros: One major benefit of this online system is the potential for a uniform appointment process across all INM offices in Mexico, which could reduce the inconsistencies in service delivery that many individuals currently experience. Additionally, the structured nature of online appointments could lessen wait times at the INM offices.
Cons: However, there are also some drawbacks to this system. The system may occasionally experience technical issues or require users to navigate a learning curve, particularly for those unfamiliar with the platform or who may struggle with internet access.
